Open Afternoon - a success

Many thanks to everyone who visited us on our open afternoon last Saturday. It was lovely to be able to show our newly refurbished / expanded gallery space to customers old and new

All the feedback has been really positive with everyone extremely happy to see an expanding and prosperous gallery during such hard times for business in general on the high street. We had lots of lovely comments on the suberb quality and range of art work on display. We are extremely lucky to be based in Herefordshire which acts as a beacon to a huge wealth of artistic talent. So if you weren't able to make it last Saturday come and browse in our lovely gallery soon and share some of the joy that art can bring to all our lives.

"Launch into Spring"

There’s lots to get excited about here at Parkfields Gallery, with new work arriving daily for our “Launch into Spring” exhibition opening on Saturday 9^th March.

Vibrant abstract oil landscapes by Richard Bishop add a splash of colour to our walls. Textural landscape prints by new artist Sarah Ross-Thompson also feature, together with characterful animal etchings by Sonia Rollo.

A new range of raku ceramic hares by Paul Jenkins ensures that hares aplenty abound to create a spring atmosphere!

Heart Warming Ceramics

Yes its January and its snowing outside but here at Parkfields Gallery you can enter into a warm abundance of colour and pure joy by surrounding yourself with Alejandra Bernales Wiesse's ceramics. Alejandra a Peruvian born artist now living in Herefordshire describes her work as seeking to reproduce the stunningly gently beauty of her local countryside.

So visit us soon to experience the joy of her work first hand and be the first to choose from her one off designs, with her mugs at £27.50 and sugar pots with a gorgeous handmade spoon at £34.50.

 You might also have noticed some very cute and funky dogs posing amongst the pots, these are the work of Rachel Woods and these beautiful bronzes with gorgeous patinas and names like Myrtle and Barry Bassett are looking for loving but stylish homes. Prices start at £125 for a cute daucshund.

Walter Keeler work

We are delighted to be exhibiting a selection of salt-glaze stoneware by Walter Keeler, straight from his latest kiln firing. Widely collected internationally, Walter's work is often functional but always challenges the viewer with it's playful approach to form. Come and feast your eyes on this delightful work!
