A photographic journey through Monmouthshire

Ned Jones, a young photographer new to the Gallery is taking us along a delightful photographic journey through the Monmouthshire countryside. From hazy views of the Black Mountains to sharp close ups of roses and honeysuckle there is an image to delight everyone.

A finalist in this years Nokia low light international photography competition Ned's images have already been acknowledged as having a unique and beautiful slant on life.

Dove Pottery : Pots to be viewed but especially to be used

We've just had a delivery of David Worsley's beautiful wheel thrown pots. 

Made from white stoneware clay and glazed in a low lustre single colour they are the very essence of simplicity and are much admired by all (including Christine Cumming's cheeky rare breed pigs!).

Fabulous and Functional Ceramics

Sylvia K's beautiful range of ceramic dinnerware has just arrived at Parkfields.

With huge plates big enough for those greedy men and charming contrasting side plates and bowls - this range is a must have for the fashion conscious dining table diva

Also new in to the Gallery we have another gorgeous selection of functional ceramics by Brittany Delaney a recently graduated young ceramic artist.

From tiny salt and pepper bowls to beautiful vases and unusual pendant necklaces, Delaney's simple and dainty ceramics add that finishing touch to a beautiful new look.

Mystical images by Julie Shackson

Julie Shackson's mystical multi media paintings have been generating a warm glow in Parkfields gallery. Depicting colourful countryside scenes and fauna, Julie's beautiful images add a stunning dimension to any interior.

Fun Day for Printing Demonstration

On yet another sunny day Parkfields Gallery's Summer Exhibition was a great success.

Lee Wright our featured artist printmaker gave a fab demonstration of how you can transform a piece of lino into a beautiful landscape scene. He kept everyones attention for the whole three hours of the exhibition which is no surprise as he is incredibly enthusiastic about the technique.

 Another featured artist for the summer exhibition is Mary Jolley. We are lucky to be able to share with you her joyous use of colour on a select range of her oil paintings.

 Noela Bewry also features in our summer exhibition and her selection of oil paintings makes a fabulous addition to the choice of abstract art the Gallery can offer this summer.

Last but not least for our summer feast for the eyes we are featuring Kate Loveday's still life studies
